Art Walk at the Harbour, 2009 June 20 & 21 |

| The second annual "Art
Walk at the Harbour" was held at Wycliffe Georgian Landing, in the
picturesque boating community of Victoria Harbour on the shores of
Georgian Bay. Money was raised to support Habitat for Humanity, North
Simcoe. The event consisted of approx. 20 local artists showing their
art in an indoor/outdoor event situated around the site of the
beautiful waterfront townhomes built by Wycliffe Homes. Numerous
raffles were conducted throughout the 2 day event, and the public was asked
to help judge a photo contest entitled, "Everyone Needs a Home". In
total, approximately $5,700 dollars were raised for Habitat. That same
weekend, a local family was being gifted with a new home in the village,
built by many generous tradespeople and volunteers.
